The Bentley logo colors do little; the wings carry the idea. F. Gordon Crosby drew them in 1919 to stand for the thrill of speed, with a side nod to W. O. Bentley's years building fighter-plane engines. The wings are deliberately uneven, one side carrying a different number of feathers from the other, a small trick that makes the badge harder to copy cleanly.
