What the ExxonMobil Logo Colors Mean?
The ExxonMobil logo colors were set by Raymond Loewy, who drew the Exxon logotype with two overlapping red X's, a shape distinctive enough to trademark on its own. Red carries the wordmark; blue is the calmer color used for Mobil and for corporate text. The old Esso tiger, from early 1900s Norway, is a separate mascot rather than part of the logo.
